Missouri’s basketball team is 6-0 for the first time since the 2006-07 season.
Despite having the best game of his career, Missouri guard Kim English said he was “Mainly disappointed in no rebounds and how I guarded (Ben) Dickinson in the first half.”
English has improved his three-point shooting percentage from 37 percent last year to 62.5 percent this year.
Missouri basketball coach Frank Haith similarly said, “defensively we weren’t quite where we needed to be.”
MU’s wrestling team beat Stanford 26-9.
MU’s volleyball team is headed to the NCAA tournament.
Kansas fired football coach Turner Gill yesterday afternoon.
Kansas linebacker said Saturday of Gill that the team was “just trying to fight for him so he could have the opportunity to stay.”
The Columbia Tribune’s Joe Walljasper said the “Border War cease-fire was more of a misfire.”
The Tribune’s Dave Matter called the Border War’s final game a “Border Snore.”
