MU Coach Odom Leaving for Memphis
MU senior defensive back Trey Hobson told Zoulogy editor Hank Koebler that MU safeties coach Barry Odom had informed his team Wednesday he was leaving. He has been at Missouri for the past nine years. Odom has accepted the defensive coordinator position at the University of Memphis.
Missouri is Odom’s alma mater. He played linebacker for the Tigers and graduated in 1999. Odom was a high school head coach for three years before becomin a graduate assistant at MU. He then was a football administrator for six years, and then became the safeties coach in 2009.
