This Saturday, September 15th at 7p.m. ET, your Missouri Tigers will take their place on Faurot Field and will try to put away the Arizona Sun Devils in the first half of this non-conference battle, because that’s what SEC teams do right? Time to live up to expectations. Time to step up and show the NCAA what Tiger pride is made of. After a disappointing performance from Sheldon Richardson in the Week 2 Georgia game, look for him to get down and dirty and plow over Arizona’s offensive line. Also, keep an eye on Dorial Green-Beckham. I am feeling a break-out game here sooner or later, we all know his trouble with running routes but you have to somehow get a 6’6” and 220 lb freak involved in a big way. With only 4 catches for 37 yards on the season look for DGB to go off like a ticking time-bomb.

Mizzou is in desperate need of a win after giving up 32 second half points against Georgia. Look for them to get the running game established early in this game, which they struggled with last week. This will be Arizona’s first tough opponent of the year, so their defense is certainly untested. The Sun Devils could be headed for a long night in the depths of Faurot Field and all the Mizzou fans chanting ” M I Z! Z O U! ” Only time will tell.

Look for Mizzou to bounce back  in this non-conference matchup vs the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday. James Franklin will presumably lead the Tigers to their second victory in the 2012 season.  The Sun Devils have something to prove, and what better way to do that then taking out the newest member of the SEC. The Tigers will need James Franklin to be at his best. Calm, collected, and poise is the name of the game for this athletic scrambling-type quarterback. We know he wants to be a pass-first type quarterback (Kind of like RG3). Now he just has to go out there and prove it.
