Its Game Time!

Tiger fans- The game is finally here! After going 13 days without any Mizzou Football, the Tigers are back on the prowl in Indiana. Kick off is quickly approaching, so here are some last minutes notes and thoughts to digest before the game begins tonight!

Three Tigers to watch
James Franklin- Franklin has looked strong in his first two games, but each time he faced a weak opponent. This game will be a slight step up, still far off from the power SEC school defenses, but much better than what Toledo and Murray State had. I am interested to see if Franklin can keep up his personal momentum and have a strong performance.
Dorial Green-Beckham- DGB has had high expectations place upon ever since he came to Columbia. He showed flashes in his freshman season, but still has a long way to go before he lives up to the hype that came with his commitment to Mizzou. This could be the game, against a weak Indiana secondary, where DGB breaks out with a couple of touchdown catches.
EJ Gaines- Gaines will have his hands full tonight with a strong Indiana passing attack. The Hoosiers run a hurry up, passing first attack, so Gaines and the secondary will have to stay on their toes and be ready to defend the pass all night long.

Three Hoosiers to watch
Nate Sudfield- We’ve been saying it all week- Sudfield can throw. He has already almost thrown for 1000 yards and ten TDs, and he will look to continue his hot streak tonight. Missouri will be in a lot of Nickel packages to have more defenders to defend against the pass tonight, and will look to pressure the sophomore QB.
David Cooper- This big bad linebacker will need to have a great game tonight and lead the Indiana defense if the Hoosiers want to slow down the Tiger rushing attack. Cooper already has 27 tackles this season, and will be flying around tonight meeting Tiger RBs in the gaps for tackles.
Shane Winn- This versatile WR could be the different tonight. He had three touchdowns against Indiana State, including a punt return for a score. He could end up changing the game on special teams if he can take another punt to the house.

Hopefully the Tigers will play well tonight and come back to Columbia undefeated!
