Your nationally ranked Missouri Tigers will go on the road this afternoon to face a very tough Georgia squad. The Bulldogs are ranked seventh in the nation and boast a 4-1 record overall. Missouri does have a better record at 5-0, but has not played as tough a schedule as Georgia. This will be the Tigers first game against a ranked opponent, while Georgia will be facing its fourth ranked foe.

The game promises to be entertaining; a battle between Mizzou’s high powered offense and Georgia’s tough as nails defense. This game is a huge challenge for Missouri, because of the tough opponent and environment. Look for the Dawgs to come out firing behind a crazy home crowd at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.

One thing that is working in Mizzou’s favor is the injury report. Per USA Today, the Tigers have just one person on the injury report while Georgia’s report is filled. UGA’s best running back Todd Gurley is listed as doubtful because of a bad ankle, and safety Trey Matthews is also doubtful with a hamstring issue. Without Gurley, the UGA offense has a lot less punch in the running game. This is an important story to follow as game time approaches later today. Here is some more information about the game tomorrow.
