Jordan Clarkson won All-Conference USA honors in the 2011-2012 season, before deciding to take his talents elsewhere. Elsewhere ended up being Columbia, Missouri. Clarkson,  a junior, is one of many new faces on this years Missouri Men’s Basketball squad, but he already has plenty of hype.

Clarkson was recently named to the Bob Cousy award watch list for the 2013-2014 season. The Cousy award honors the best point guard in the nation, and Clarkson was among 45 other players who received the watch list honor. Clarkson averaged 14.2 points per game while playing for Tulsa, where he primarily played off the ball. This season, he will primarily be playing his preferred position, point guard.

Clarkson and the new look Tigers will begin their quest for an SEC Title and an NCAA Tournament berth on Friday, October 25, against Oklahoma City. The Tigers will be wearing throwback uniforms and even playing in the Hearnes Center to honor the 1993-94 Big 8 championship team.
