After Missouri’s dominating performance against Kentucky behind huge games from Maty Mauk and Dorial Green Beckham, they will be at number nine for at least another week. While I wish I could be disappointed or surprised that they didn’t jump in the rankings, it’s not surprising. Nobody in front of the Tigers lost this week other than Oregon, but they didn’t fall far enough to fall behind the Tigers.
Missouri still controls its destiny in the SEC East with two games remaining this season. After a bye week this week, the Tigers go to Ole Miss and then come home for the blackout game against last year’s Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies.
