  • The Ray Guy award named after the famed punter is given out to the best collegiate punter in the nation. This is Brinser’s second season on the watch list making it in 2013 as well.

The 6’2, 200 pound red shirt senior out of Liberty, Missouri is having a very solid season in his second year atop the depth chart. So far in 2014 he’s kicked 53 punts with a respectable 41.3-yard average per punt.

With this being his last season Brinser is surely looking toward his future and even though he is unlikely to be drafted it is very possible that he could find himself trying out for some NFL teams next season.

Brinser and the Tigers will continue their 2014 season on Saturday when they travel to College Station to take on Texas A&M.
