Jontay Porter wasn’t the only big name visiting Missouri on Monday; Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, the 6′ 9″ four-star sophomore forward from Bishop Miege, also visited Columbia.

It’s no coincidence that Robinson-Earl and Jontay Porter made their visits to Columbia on the same day; they are friends, after all.

Robinson-Earl, who averaged 13.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game for state champion Miege, is ranked No. 17 by Rivals.com.

According to Gary Bedore of the Kansas City Star, Robinson-Earl enjoyed the reception he received in Columbia. “The visit went well. I enjoyed seeing Jontay (Porter), learning more about the program and meeting the coaches.”

While 247 sports says that Robinson-Earl isn’t even on Missouri’s radar, Tigers coach Cuonzo Martin offered Robinson-earl a scholarship on Monday evening. Also in the running for Robinson-Earl is kansas,  Iowa, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Kentucky, among others.

While Robinson-Earl likely won’t make his decision for another year, the Missouri Tigers made a solid move in offering him an opportunity to consider committing to a program that will be well on its way to post-season success when it comes time for him to decide.
