The wait is over. The long-awaited day, in which Missouri basketball recruit Kevin Knox will announce his decision, comes today!

Over the past couple of months, the face of Missouri basketball has made a complete 180-degree turn.

When Mizzou parted ways with former head coach and alum Kim Anderson, nobody ever imagined that the start of the Cuonzo Martin era would come with such fervor.

Upon Martin’s start, he began recruiting, including his own prospects which he recruited for Cal.

When former head coach Lorenzo Romar was fired from the University of Washington, Martin offered assistant coach Michael Porter, Sr. a position on the coaching staff at Missouri.

When Michael Porter, Sr. accepted the offer, his son, and the No. 1 recruit in the country, Michael Porter, Jr. flipped his commitment from Washington to Missouri. Then, the fun began.

Shortly after Michael Porter, Jr. committed to Missouri, Jeremiah Tilmon eventually received a release from his National Letter if Intent, and is currently not committed to any program, but is expected to commit to Mizzou.

CJ Robertson reaffirmed his commitment to Missouri, and Blake Harris committed, as well. Meanwhile, the Tigers are also awaiting a decision from current class of 2018, 5-star recruit, Jontay Porter to decide whether he will reclassify and join Mizzou in 2017.

Shooting guard Kassius Robertson also announced his transfer from Canisius College to Missouri for his final year of eligibility in 2017.

Now, all eyes are upon Kevin Knox, who recently announced that he will make his decision this evening, via Twitter, among Duke, Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, and Florida State.

Most say it won’t be Missouri, but we’ll see later this evening. The time of his announcement is expected to be between 6 and 7 PM, Central Time.
