I am taking a two-for-one deal on the last slide, because both Ish Witter and Damerea Crockett are complementary of each others’ skills.

It’s overplayed, but I dub the duo “thunder and lightning.” Witter established himself as the more reliable of Missouri’s backs, based on his ability to secure the ball, and stay free of problems off the field.

When Crockett has the ball though, he has the athletic ability and talent to slip past defenders and power through tackles.

Earlier in the offseason, Crockett stated that he’s turned a new leaf and will focus on his job and helping out his team.

Many will take his words for face value – actions speak louder. But I credit him for admitting his mistakes, and would love to see him succeed this year.

Crockett’s intent is honorable, and as long as he is able to follow through with it, then there’s no reason the duo of him and Witter won’t make for a lethal combination in the SEC.

In addition, the Tigers’ offensive line has a lot to live up to, if Crockett and Witter are to meet their lofty expectations.
