Missouri Football 2017: J’Mon Moore and the wide receivers
Johnathon Johnson has a great chance to build upon his success from 2016. In his first season with Missouri, Johnson turned into the Tigers’ unknown playmaker.
Johnson averaged 17.6 yards per catch, and posted Missouri’s longest rush, catch, and kick and punt returns of the season.
After catching a 67-yard bomb from quarterback Drew Lock, Johnson scored a touchdown, which was the starting point or Missouri’s 17 point rally to beat Arkansas. The 17 point deficit was also the largest gap that the Tigers overcame to secure a win.
While 2016 was a hapless season, Johnson should continue to provide an exciting spark for Missouri’s passing game.
