When you ask Mizzou fans who they think the greatest Missouri Quarterback in history was, most will say Chase Daniel.

Daniel changed everything for Missouri football. He is responsible for putting Mizzou on the map for not being one of the elite football programs in the Big 12, but the entire country.

Daniel’s play was nothing short of amazing; he was simply fun to watch. Watching him dismantle defenses with his deadly accuracy and awareness never got old.

Having an amazing 68% career pass completion percentage, 101 total touchdowns and 971 yards rushing, the numbers speak for themselves.

For Daniel, though it’s the wins that do the real talking, his greatest accomplishments were blowing out Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl, snapping Missouri’s nearly 30-year losing streak to Nebraska in Lincoln, and of course, beating the fourth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks to become the No. 1 team in the nation.

Besides Gary Pinkel, no one has done more for Missouri football than Chase Daniel, and his legacy will certainly be a tough one to top.
