While Missouri experienced a handful of exciting games in 2016, the Tigers have played a number of exciting games so far this decade.
2016 vs. Arkansas
In what was a lost season for Mizzou, the Tigers were able to finish the season on a high note by defeating the Razorbacks in Columbia.
At first, the game looked like it would be another rout for Arkansas, as they found the end zone less than a minute in – Raleigh Williams scored from just a yard out, after Austin Allen hit Keon Hatcher for a 66-yard catch and run.
Five minutes later, Mizzou got a touchdown on a bizarre play – after Ish Witter got into the end zone, he forgot to take the ball with him, and it just laid on the ground. Luckily, J’Mon Moore was “Johnny on the spot,” and recovered it to tie the game.

The rest of the first half was all Arkansas, as they scored 17 unanswered points before intermission.
In the second half, Mizzou finished their season with the most pride they had shown at any point during it.
Nate Strong scored on a two yard run early in the second half to pull Mizzou to within 10. Then, Drew Lock hit Johnathon Jackson for a 67-yard touchdown to get the Tigers to within three.
Finally, early in the fourth Strong scored from a yard away to put Mizzou in the lead. The defense stepped up and the running lanes that had been open in Mizzou’s defense all year were closed for the Hogs as Mizzou won 28-24.
