2013 vs. Georgia
After getting beaten down in the second half of the first ever conference game in the SEC, the Tigers got revenge in their first trip to Athens at a conference game.
Four turnovers, including a fumble recovery for a touchdown by Michael Sam, helped Mizzou pull off the 41-26 upset. The Tigers were ranked No. 25 in the country after going 5-7 the previous year and upended the seventh-ranked Dawgs.
After an Aaron Murray touchdown pass, James Franklin ran in for a five yard touchdown and then hit L’Damian Washington for a 16 yard touchdown. Marcus Murphy ran for a 36 yard touchdown and then Sam made his play to put Mizzou up, 28-10, at half.
In the second half, Georgia came out with a vengeance as they scored 16 unanswered points to pull within two points, 28-26. But Mizzou answered as Bud Sasser hit Washington on a trick play for a touchdown, while Henry Josey ran for a seven yard score to seal the game.
