Missouri Football: J’Mon Moore and 3 others named to preseason SEC team
Positive recognition for Missouri football continues, as four Tigers were named to the preseason SEC team on Wednesday.
So far, it doesn’t seem as though running back Damarea Crockett or quarterback Drew Lock have been named to the preseason SEC team, but that could be yet to come.
On Wednesday, names were announced for the SEC’s second and third preseason teams. Two Tigers were named to the second team, and the remaining two were added to the third team.
Wide receiver J’Mon Moore and offensive lineman Paul Adams were named to the second team, while defensive end Marcell Frazier and defensive tackle Terry Beckner, Jr. were added to the preseason SEC third team.

Last year, Moore surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career as a Tiger. He also scored eight touchdowns. In 2017, Moore will work to surpass the 1,000 yard mark, again.
In 2016, Adams was a part of an offensive line unit that allowed an SEC-low 14 sacks on Lock.
Beckner also filled in nicely when he was called upon last year, but injuries limited his availability. This year, he returns in good health and will work to solidify what many consider a questionable defensive front in Columbia.
With only nine days until Missouri takes the field against Missouri State, fans have a lot to be excited about this year. The Tigers should be a juggernaut on offense, which returns 10 starters.

The majority of concern still lies with the Tigers on defense. Missouri hopes to have some unfounded talent on its roster to replace the players who left after last season.
