A few changes to expect on game day for Missouri football
There is always excitement and activity surrounding football game days, and this year will be no exception, following a few new game day initiatives.
Among Missouri’s many game day traditions are “Tiger Walk,” and Truman the Tiger hosing down fans from the Boone County fire truck.
There are six initiatives, to be exact; the biggest change being the route of “Tiger Walk.” According to Missouri’s athletics website, “The Tigers will enter Champions Drive along Stadium Boulevard, drive along Champions Drive and come to a stop at Mick Deaver Memorial Drive. The Tigers will depart from the busses and walk down Mick Deaver with spirit squads and Mini Mizzou to enter the south side of Memorial Stadium.”
This change will allow more fans to take part in the game day experience. Another change from last season, will be the SEC’s implementation of its clear bag policy.

Tiger Town has also paired-up with the Tailgate Concert Series, which hosts the game day concert series has relocated from east side of Memorial Stadium on Mick Deaver Memorial Drive.
Mizzou has a great slate of entertainers scheduled to perform at home games this year, including Lauren Jenkins, Wilder, David Nail, and my favorite, Gin Blossoms, among many others.

love to tailgate, but may not like the prep time or clean-up. This year, the Tigers have partnered with Block Party Tailgate Rentals, and are offering fans a variety of turn-key tailgate packages starting at $450.00, so check that out.

The best news though, is the Tigers take the field in less than a week, at home, against the Missouri State Bears.
