ESPN’s John Anderson takes over SEC Network on Friday. So get ready for a full day of top Mizzou Tigers moments.

Last month, the SEC Network celebrated five years at ESPN.

With that, the network decided to apply a new twist to its usual mid-summer “Takeover” schedule.

In year’s past, the network gave each SEC school one full day of games, moments and shows. This year, the broadcast allowed people who graduated from those schools to pick what goes on each specific day.

On Friday, the slot goes to ESPN SEC Alums; that being Missouri’s own John Anderson.

The sports journalist and ESPN host since 1999 will present his favorite Missouri moments, and that will include several Missouri football games.

Friday’s list includes Missouri at Georgia from 2013; Missouri at Florida from last year; Missouri vs. Texas A&M from 2013; and Missouri at Tennessee from 2012.

The day also will be filled with women’s basketball, track and field (indoor and outdoor), men’s basketball and baseball.

Anderson’s schedule begins at 11 p.m. tonight central time and will run for 24 hours.

You can visit the whole SEC Network schedule here.

Sunday, Aug. 4 will be the next Mizzou day, which shares the spot with other SEC teams as the network presents SEC Saturday Night Crew’s list of top conference moments.

Mizzou will be represented by ESPN’s Tom Hart. Other SECN personalities that selected Sunday’s lineup are Cole Cubelic and Jordan Rodgers.

Hart’s favorite moments will consist of several Big 12 moments, including wins over Oklahoma, Nebraska and Kansas.

That’s a lot of Missouri moments that will be featured on the network this weekend. So it’s sure to be a great next three days for Tiger fans.
