Mizzou fans who are making the trek to Laramie, Wyoming, for Saturday’s football game should expect nice weather at kickoff.
On Saturday, the Missouri Tigers visit the Wyoming Cowboys, at an elevation of 7,215 feet, in War Memorial Stadium. In 2018, the Tigers devastated the Cowboys, 40-13.
Wyoming will seek to avenge last year’s loss, while defending their home field in Saturday evening’s contest, but Mizzou’s talent should prove too much, once again.

If you’re in Laramie for the game, the weather outlook is promising. Early in the afternoon, there is a 31% chance of thunderstorms, but they will be long gone by kickoff.
"High: 84°Low: 49°Kickoff: 73°; Real Feel: 69°Winds: SSE, 12 MPH; 20 MPH gustsSunset: 7:37 p.m."
Saturday’s high is expected to reach 84 degrees, coupled with low humidity, and a low temperature of 49 degrees. The temperature at kickoff is expected to be 73 degrees, with a real feel of 69 degrees.
Winds will be out of the south, southeast at 12 MPH, with gusts up to 20 MPH throughout the day. I would call this perfect “football weather.”
This game should set the tone for Missouri’s season, as the Tigers look to build on their late success from 2018. With quarterback Kelly Bryant under center, many would agree the Tigers have upgraded the position for a lethal array of weapons.
Missouri will also present a tough challenge to Wyoming’s run defense with a pair of talented running backs in Larry Rountree III and Tyler Badie. In 2018, Damarea Crockett carried the ball for 73 yards, while former quarterback Drew Lock carved up the Cowboys defense, collecting 398 passing yards and four touchdowns, connecting with receivers Emanuel Hall and Albert Okwuegbunam, as well as a running score, himself.
I predict Missouri to take home a win, but it won’t be as easy with the thin air in Laramie. The first half will probably be sluggish, until the Tigers find their legs in the second half.
