Kickoff forecast — Cloudy, Southwest wind 7 to 12 mph, 70 percent change of showers/storms.
Other conference game — Utah State at No. 5 LSU; No. 7 Auburn at No. 10 Florida; No. 3 Georgia at Tennessee; Vanderbilt at Ole Miss.
Troy game plan — The Trojans will be looking to upset a Power 5 school for the third year in a row. They are capable of an upset because of the amount of points they can put up. Troy hasn’t scored less than 35 points this season. But the Trojans must play better defense than they have in their losses. Troy is a couple plays away from 4-0, but in their losses they gave up 47 to Southern Mississippi and 50 to Arkansas State.
Missouri game plan — The Tigers need to come out of the bye week ready to play. If their play before the bye week is any indication, Mizzou will start fast. The Tigers own the first quarter, outscoring their opponents 58-0. They’ll want to keep that up. Troy has started fast in their recent upsets over the past two years. But with an extra week to prepare, and coming off an average performance against South Carolina, Mizzou’s offense and quarterback Kelly Bryant will look to take charge early.
