The Mizzou football team saw a lot of movement on the roster after its win over Troy.

Mizzou football is set to begin a stretch of SEC games for the rest of the season.

The Tigers are doing so without their middle linebacker, Cale Garrett, who is having surgery to repair a torn pectoral tendon. Quarterback Kelly Bryant shook off a nasty hit below his waist last week and will start Saturday’s game.

Though many of the starters are the same, the Mizzou football depth chart had many changes for Week 7.

At the linebacker position, Cameron Wilkins is slated to start at middle linebacker, formerly the spot held by Garrett.

Jamal Brooks moves over to Wilkins’ old backup spot behind Nick Bolton, while freshman Chad Bailey makes an appearance behind Wilkins.

Martez Manuel is the backup free safety now while Jalani Williams is the backup strong safety. The freshmen tandem sit behind a pair of juniors in Joshuah Bledsoe and Tyree Gillespie, so this position looks solid for years to come if everything plays out well.

For the Tigers, the biggest change up was on the offensive line.

Yasir Durant’s backup at left tackle is Bobby Lawrence while Larry Borom moves from starting guard to starting right tackle along with Hyrin White. Case Cook is the starter at left guard.

Thalen Robinson moves from reserve guard to reserve center while Xavier Delgado takes over Robinson’s former spot. Mike Ruth is the backup to Cook.

At wide receiver, Dominic Gicinto moved from a backup slot spot to behind Jonathan Nance while Barrett Banister is the lone reserve to Johnathon Johnson in the slot. Freshman Maurice Massey is no longer on the two-deep.

Johnson is the punt returner, taking over for Richaud Floyd, who looks to sit out this week with a hamstring injury.
