Other conference game — South Carolina at No. 3 Georgia; Mississippi State at Tennessee; No. 1 Alabama at No. 24 Texas A&M; UNLV at Vanderbilt; Arkansas at Kentucky; No. 7 Florida at No. 5 LSU.

Ole Miss game plan — Run the football … at least that’s what they should do. The Rebels average more than 230 yards a game and even more after freshman QB JR Plumlee took over three weeks ago. The problem for Ole Miss is that Mizzou stops the run, and the Tigers are better at stopping it than the Rebels are at running it. So it’s strength against strength, and the home team has an advantage. It might be smart for Ole Miss to try to get their QB some easy throws, with some shorter routes possibly outside to get Mizzou to open up its defense.

Missouri game plan — Mizzou could have some trouble getting a rushing attack going, as Ole Miss keys in on this from the middle of its defense. But with Kelly Bryant and Co. going outside, this is where the Tigers could have their most success. Expect Bryant to go over the top while the running backs get some good gains outside of the tackles. This is what Bryant wanted when he came to Mizzou, an opportunity to complete those downfield throws. Today’s his chance. Mizzou’s defense is without its senior linebacker Cale Garrett for the rest of the year, so it’ll be interesting how the 4-2-5 defense does today.
