Missouri basketball vs. Alabama: Tip-off time, radio, odds and more
Missouri basketball continues conference play as the Tigers again are on the road to play Alabama.
The Missouri basketball team has to play better than its last game against Mississippi State.
Luckily, the Tigers don’t have much time to think about their 72-45 loss to the Bulldogs. They have a game to play Saturday against Alabama. The Crimson Tide are coming off a thrilling 83-64 win over No. 4-ranked Auburn, so they are definitely on coach Cuonzo Martin and the Tigers’ radar this weekend.
Here’s a look at Saturday’s game:
Records: Alabama 9-7 (2-2); Missouri 9-7 (2-2)
Where: Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Other conference games today: South Carolina at Texas A&M; No. 4 Auburn at Florida; No. 10 Kentucky at Arkansas; Tennessee at Vanderbilt; LSU at Ole Miss; Georgia at Mississippi State
Both teams enter today with identical records overall, but Alabama has a slight edge in the SEC. It took a while for Alabama to get going, as the Crimson Tide didn’t get above .500 until four days before Christmas. But they have won five of their past seven games.
The Tide are led by Kira Lewis Jr., who averages 16.8 points, 4.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Lewis had 25 points in Wednesday’s huge win over the Tigers. Lewis is relied on heavily for Alabama, and the 6-foot-3 sophomore guard’s 37.7 minutes per contest leads all the guards in the SEC. Fellow guard John Petty Jr. leads the team with 7.2 rebounds per game, but forward Herbert Jones got involved in the paint against Auburn, picking up 12 boards and 14 points to help his team.
Next up: Missouri comes back home for a Tuesday tilt against Texas A&M.
