2022 women’s basketball prospect Addison Potts announced her decision decommit from Missouri and reopen her recruitment on Tuesday. Potts made the announcement on her Instagram and Twitter.

Potts, a 4-star point guard out of Seffner Christian Academy in Florida, committed to Missouri as an eighth-grader back in 2018.

As a junior at Seffner, she recorded her 2,000th career point. She started playing varsity basketball in eighth grade and received nine offers before committing to Missouri.

Potts has played at three high schools, starting at Impact Academy, then Bishop Verot, before settling at Seffner.

The move comes just a day after Missouri Athletic Director Jim Sterk announced that he will be stepping down, though it is unclear if that impacted Potts’ decision.

Best of luck to Potts in her recruitment!
