California Collegiate League

Torin Montgomery-Healdsburg Prune Packers

Montgomery played in 2 games to close the final week of play, going 2-6 with a triple and 3 RBIs. He has been a real bright spot for Healdsburg and lead the team in RBIs this season with 36.

Montgomery notched 43 hits this season, including 5 home runs. His success at the plate will have Missouri baseball head coach Steve Bieser smiling.

Montgomery was surely smiling at the end of the week, after Healdsburg won the CCL State Championship.

Cape Cod League

Spencer Miles-Wareham Gatemen

Miles ends his season with 17.2 innings pitched, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits. The number that will certainly turn heads is his 24 total strikeouts.

Overall, it was  a successful summer for Miles, and more work during the offseason should only see him get better.

The Gatemen finished just outside of playoff contention, 3rd in the West Division with a 14-18-5 record.

Luke Mann-Hyannis Harbor Hawks

Mann had a solid summer at the plate, hitting .269 over 108 at-bats. He lead the Harbor Hawks with 27 RBIs.

Despite making plenty of good contact, Mann also struck out 38 times this summer, something he will have to focus on during the offseason.

Mann’s summer form should give Missouri baseball fans something to be excited about, provided it carries over to the regular season.
