Mizzou football will be searching for a pivotal win on Saturday against Auburn. The battle of Tigers will provide a major opportunity for both sides to pick up an SEC victory.

In order for No. 19 Mizzou to secure a conference win, they'll need these three players to step up and make an impact.

1. Brady Cook (QB)

With Brady Cook, it's quite simple, he needs to be better. As one of the leaders of the team, Cook has been shaky, missing countless opportunities through his first six games. Despite the 5-1 record, quarterback play has been a major concern for Mizzou. Cook will need to get rolling early if the Tigers want to pull out a victory on Saturday.

2. Triston Newson (LB)

Triston Newson has been great for Mizzou all year and after missing last week's game at UMass, he should be fresh for the homecoming game against Auburn. The linebacker will be called upon even more after a season-ending injury to Khalil Jacobs. If Newson is able to nuetralize Auburn's rushing attack, it'll go a long way in deciding the outcome of Saturday's game.

3. Zion Young (DE)

Zion Young has looked sharp in his first five games as a Missouri Tiger, but his stats don't necesarily back that up. The Michigan State transfer has created a ton of pressure, but has just one sack to show for it. If Young is able to get to Payton Thorne today, it'll be a good day for the Missouri Tigers.
