Ahmad Hardy is quite possibly the best running back in the nation, but he's also one of the best hype men too. While Hardy is gearing up for the Tigers' 2026 season, a former teammate is down at the Senior Bowl trying to make the jump to the NFL.
Wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. has been turning some heads down in Mobile, and his biggest supporter so far has been Hardy, who hasn't been shy about letting the world know how great Coleman really is.

Former Mizzou Tiger Kevin Coleman Jr. impresses ahead of NFL Draft
Coleman is an undersized, but twitchy and athletic receiver who could find a home in the NFL as a slot player. He's projected anywhere from the third to fifth round in this spring's draft, but a strong showing at the Senior Bowl could be boosting his stock even more. So far, he's already produced several incredible head-turning catches in one-on-ones down in Alabama.
Coleman led the Tigers in receiving this past season with 66 catches for 732 yards and 1 touchdown, although his numbers were probably limited by average quarterback play. Ironically, his performance was also overshadowed by his biggest supporter, as Ahmad Hardy rushed his way to being one of the top backs in the country.
Both Zion Young and Chris McClellan joined Coleman at the Senior Bowl, and there are at least five Tigers who could hear their names called at the NFL Draft in April. Coleman was also one of several receivers to leave the Tigers this offseason, resulting in Eli Drinkwitz and company completely rebuilding the room via the transfer portal. With Donovan Olugbode returning, the room now primarily consists of Cayden Lee, Caleb Goodie, and Naeshaun Montgomery.
