The secret is out.
Over the past week, Missouri right tackle Armand Membou has drawn significant attention from NFL scouts.
This is a secret Tigers fans have known all season. Membou was a staple of Missouri’s dominant rushing attack over the past two seasons, and in pass protection, he continued to flourish, allowing minimal pressures and even fewer sacks.
The 20-year-old from Lee’s Summit North High School demonstrated his unwavering commitment to Mizzou’s brotherhood throughout his time with the program, and now he’ll have an opportunity to take his talents to the next level.
Membou was set to play in the Senior Bowl, and after just over a day in Mobile, Alabama, he caught the attention of many scouts. Unfortunately for the 315-pound tackle, he appears to have come down with an illness and will likely be sidelined for the rest of the week.
Here's the scoop on OT Armand Membou (my highest-graded SB prospect).

He arrived in Mobile on Sunday and came down with a bad stomach flu that night. Didn't get any better the last few days and didn't have much choice but to pull out of the Senior Bowl.
Despite the illness, Membou made the most of his time on the field. Much of the skepticism surrounding the Missouri product centered on his size, with scouts questioning whether he had the build of a premier NFL offensive lineman.
However, Membou put those concerns to rest when his measurements matched the average size of an NFL lineman.

Recent reports have projected Membou as a potential top-10 pick, with On3 predicting him to go No. 10 to the Chicago Bears.

Outside of that singular mock draft, there has been significant buzz that Membou could be the first offensive lineman selected in the 2025 draft.
There is still plenty of time for things to change, but at the trajectory Membou is on, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him surpass Will Campbell by the end of the combine.
The first round of the NFL Draft will take place on Thursday, April 24, and Mizzou could have two first-round picks for the first time since Aldon Smith and Blaine Gabbert were selected in 2011.
Membou is a physical presence, and whichever NFL team drafts him will gain a prospect with the potential to develop into an elite offensive lineman.
