Coming off a tough loss at Arkansas on Saturday night, the Mizzou Tigers hosted the South Carolina Gamecocks for their second-to-last home game of the 2024-25 campaign.

All season long, Caleb Grill has been knocking down shots from beyond the arc at an incredible rate. Coming into the game with a 3PT% of 43.3%, Grill was on fire once again tonight.

At the 16:13 mark in the first half, Grill checked into the game for the first time, and his impact was immediately felt.

Grill went on to score 10 of the next 12 points for the Tigers, helping them quickly extend their lead from 1 to 10. From that point on, Mizzou never looked back.

In the first half, Grill lit up the scoreboard with 14 points, shooting an efficient 6-for-8 from the field.

Throughout the season, Grill has been a key piece to the team's success. In two of Mizzou’s marquee conference wins over Alabama and Florida—both ranked in the top 5 at the time—Grill scored over 20 points in each game. Those performances have been true season-defining moments for the Tigers.

Grill’s impact tonight was no different, as he led the Tigers with 22 points. Five other Tigers also reached double digits in a dominant 30-point victory.

The Tigers shot an impressive 58% from three in the victory, with Grill playing a major role in the success. He knocked down 4 triples in the win.

Grill’s impact wasn’t limited to offense, as he logged 4 of the Tigers' 11 steals on the night. On both ends of the court, Caleb Grill was a problem for the Gamecocks.

Looking ahead to their next game, the Tigers will travel to Nashville to face off against a tough Vanderbilt team.

In January's win against the Commodores, Grill didn't necessarily light up the scoreboard. He went 4-for-9 from the field and 2-for-7 from three, while Mark Mitchell paved the way to victory for the Tigers in the earlier meeting.
