Luther Burden will wear No. 87 for the Chicago Bears, but don't be fooled; it certainly wasn't his first choice.
When asked about the reasoning behind No. 87, Burden joked, "all the good numbers were gone."

The Chicago Bears' rookie receiver reported Friday for Day 1 of rookie minicamp. This gives all drafted players, undrafted free agents, and training camp invitees a chance to familiarize themselves with their respective organizations.
For Burden, it'll certainly be a different look, as he wore No. 3 throughout both his high school and college careers.
While Burden's answer to the unique jersey number choice got laughs, there was a different question and answer that stole the show in the former Mizzou receiver's press conference on Friday.
When a reporter asked Burden about having a chip on his shoulder after being selected on Day 2, his answer sparked national media attention.

Bears fans are certainly ecstatic about the prospect of Burden and what he might be able to add immediately.
