Update: Kevin Coleman Jr. has returned to the game for the Missouri Tigers
Missouri started its game against Alabama hot with a perfectly executed first drive; however, since then, the offense has gone cold, and the defense has struggled to get consistent stops against the Crimson Tide offense.
The hits keep coming for the Tigers as they already lost defensive back Marvin Burks Jr. due to a targeting penalty that resulted in an ejection, and now they are out their top wide receiver.
Missouri star wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. is the Tigers' leading pass catcher with 39 receptions for 386 yards and one touchdown. On a play in the second quarter, Coleman Jr. took a hard hit to the lower part of his body and came up limping and immediately called for a sub onto the field. He then immediately went into the medical tent.
#Mizzou WR Kevin Coleman Jr. went down as soon as he got to the sideline after that jet sweep pitch play. Seemed like he was reaching for his right ankle. In the medical tent now.

When coming out of the tent, Coleman could be seen on the stationary bike during an injury update from the sideline reporter, trying to loosen up what was bothering him. It seems to be an ankle injury, but if he can't go, it could be really bad news for the Tigers.
Missouri needs Kevin Coleman Jr. in order to pull off the upset against Alabama
Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula has been great so far this season, but being down his top pass-catcher certainly seems to be messing with him as he is just 4-for-8 with 46 yards and one touchdown pass heading into halftime against Alabama.
There is hope that Coleman can return in the second half for the Tigers, as the offense will certainly need his talents to help stay undefeated so far this season.
