Football season is right around the corner, and the release of Missouri’s non-conference kickoff times and TV designations is yet another sign that it’s almost here.

On Thursday morning, it was announced that Missouri’s game against Kansas will kick off at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Memorial Stadium. The game will air on ESPN2.

The matchup will mark the renewal of one of college football’s most storied rivalries, a battle that hasn’t been played in 14 years.

While the Border War was understandably the headline, Missouri’s Week 3 home matchup against Louisiana also received a kickoff time. The Sept. 13 game is set for 3 p.m. and will stream on SEC Network+.

Missouri is set to open its season with a Thursday night kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28, when the Tigers host Central Arkansas on SEC Network.

MU has found consistent success both at home and in non-conference play, winning 17 straight home non-conference games dating back to 2017.
