After hosting the Howard Bison in 2024, the Missouri Tigers will make the return trip to Washington, D.C., on Nov. 3 to open their 2025 season.

This game marks the second installment of a three-part series, which will conclude with a final matchup at Mizzou Arena in 2026. The series brings in $85,000 in revenue for Howard — $65,000 for the 2024 trip to Columbia and an additional $20,000 for the 2026 game.

In the first game of the series, the Bison held their own on the road, ultimately falling to the Tigers 77-62 in what was Missouri’s second game of the 2024 season.

This marks the second straight season that Dennis Gates has opened the year with a road game, following Missouri’s trip to Memphis on Nov. 4, 2024, to kick off last season.

The trip to Washington this November will officially kick off Dennis Gates’ fourth season as head coach of the Missouri Tigers.
