Despite a tough loss at Alabama on Saturday, Mizzou football received some positive news during its bye week: the final home game of the season against Arkansas on Nov. 30 has been announced as a sellout.
It’s important to note that, regardless of how the season ends, Mizzou fans have done their part, as the Arkansas game will mark the 12th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium, a feat dating back to last season.
With Mizzou on a much-needed bye week, the Tigers will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 9, to host Oklahoma. It will be interesting to see how Mizzou responds with four conference games remaining and the chance to still finish the season with double-digit wins.
When Mizzou returns to action, they’ll be welcomed by a sold-out Faurot Field, with fans continuing to do their part in building a winning culture.
Mizzou quarterback Brady Cook sustained an injury in the Alabama game, but he’s expected to return this season—a huge relief for the Tigers. Backup quarterback Drew Pyne struggled in Cook’s absence, throwing three interceptions against the Crimson Tide.
Faurot Field has been electric all season, and Mizzou’s perfect 5-0 home record reflects it. With Oklahoma and Arkansas still set to travel to Columbia, the Tigers have two major opportunities to secure key conference wins.
