Football season is closing in fast.

With summer approaching, only 100 days remain until the Missouri Tigers kick off the 2025 college football season.

Mizzou opens its season Thursday, Aug. 28, against the Central Arkansas Bears. It'll be a night game under the lights of Faurot Field, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.

Central Arkansas is coming off a .500 season, finishing 6-6 overall and 3-5 in United Athletic Conference (UAC) play.

With a complete overhaul on offense, the new-look Tigers will be one to watch. MU lost seven offensive starters but reloaded with key additions from the transfer portal and the development of homegrown talent.

Missouri will be heavy favorites in Week 1, but it’ll be a good early test of how dominant this team can look against a clearly overmatched opponent.

One thing everyone can agree on: football season can’t get here soon enough.
