Mizzou starts 2027 class with the most important position in sports
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound quarterback had visited Mizzou multiple times over the past year, and landed on the Tigers thanks in part to the close ties with the coaching staff. Warren told 247Sports it was one of his biggest influences.
"He is very energetic and honest," Warren said about offensive coordinator Kirby Moore. "I like how he tells you the truth always and just wants what's best for the kids...He likes my arm talent and my ability to make plays when I need to. I'm really interested in their program. I mean they are SEC, always the best competition, and it's a type of place to build myself as a person and player and make me the best person I can be."
As a junior, Warren threw for 1,847 yards, 27 touchdowns and just six interceptions while putting up 288 yards on the ground. He's currently a three-star recruit, but is already the No. 29 quarterback in the country, and could potential trend up from there with a strong senior year.
After wrapping up National Signing Day yesterday, the Tigers have gotten off to a strong start for 2027 by landing a potential four-star player at the most important position in sports.
