The Missouri Tigers added their third offensive lineman of the winter transfer portal cycle on Saturday afternoon.
This time, the Tigers signed West Virginia transfer Johnny Williams IV, a 6-foot-7, 315-pound lineman from Macon, Georgia.
During his two seasons with the Mountaineers, Williams appeared in 17 games, making two starts. One of those starts came in West Virginia's bowl game on Dec. 17 against the Memphis Tigers. He entered the transfer portal just two days later.
Williams redshirted his first season at West Virginia, giving him three years of eligibility remaining as he joins Mizzou.
Williams joins Michigan transfer Dominick Giudice and Wake Forest transfer Keagen Trost as potential replacements for Mizzou’s depleted offensive line next season. The Tigers will return only two of their five starters: center Connor Tollison and left guard Cayden Green.
