Mizzou softball just added a much-needed power boost to its 2026 lineup.

Following an underwhelming season, the Missouri Tigers wasted no time hitting the portal, landing East Carolina outfielder Emma Jackson.

Jackson is coming off a standout season in which she blasted 21 home runs — tied for the most in the American Athletic Conference. But her power wasn’t the only threat she posed at the plate. She also slashed .326 with a 1.183 OPS, proving to be a well-rounded force in the lineup.

While Jackson earned plenty of recognition at East Carolina this past season, her collegiate softball journey began at Virginia Tech in 2023. As a freshman, she tallied 12 hits and scored 14 runs in 45 at-bats before transferring ahead of her sophomore season.

After 17 straight seasons reaching at least a regional, Missouri softball will look to bounce back next year — and Jackson is expected to play a key role in reigniting the offense.
