The Mizzou Tigers continue their homestand as they host South Dakota for their fifth straight game at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers have seemed to hit their stride as their offense is ranked 14th in the nation, according to KenPom rankings.

Taking a look at the Coyotes, they are led by Isaac Bruns, a crafty junior point guard who is a fantastic shot creator.

Bruns is the Coyotes’ leader in scoring, averaging 17.4 points per game across the 2025-26 campaign.

In addition, a name to look out for tonight is Vince Buzelis, the brother of the Chicago Bulls rising star. In five games so far this season, the talented freshman has shown a lot of upside, scoring a career-high 12 points in the Coyote loss to Creighton just over two weeks ago.

South Dakota, coached by Eric Peterson, is coming off their best season throughout his tenure where the Coyotes won 19 games.

On the season, the Coyotes attempt 68.6 shots from the field per game. Expect them to take a lot of shots from the midrange, specifically from Bruns, who shoots over 10 shots per contest.

In the loss against Creighton, it was a struggle for Coyote big man Cameron Fens as he shot a poor 3-for-11 from the field. This matchup will be no easier as Shawn Phillips Jr. has been a problem for opposing defenders, taking up all sorts of space inside.

As for the Tigers, they defend the ball very well, led by Anthony Robinson II, who was selected as the preseason DPOY for the SEC.

Bruns loves to get to the midrange and take shots from inside the arc; expect Robinson to play a heavy role throughout the night.

As for the Tigers, if they can force turnovers and run the floor in transition, there isn’t much the Coyotes can do to stop a talented Tiger offense.

The Tigers and Coyotes tip off tonight at 7 p.m. CST, with the game streaming live on SECN+.
