For the sixth consecutive home game, Memorial Stadium will be sold out on Thursday night. This latest sellout comes just one day before the season opener, where the Missouri Tigers will host Murray State. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., and the Tigers are ready to start make a statement.

Fans are passionate about this team, which comes in with more momentum than any Missouri squad in recent history. Under Eliah Drinkwitz, Missouri football has become 'can't-miss television.' The Tigers enter this game ranked No. 11 in the country, according to the Associated Press poll, contributing to yet another sell-out crowd.

Coach Drinkwitz didn't hold back in last week's press conference, calling out fans for not yet selling out the home opener against Murray State.

"We're a top 11 program in the country...in my opinion, if we don't sell out the first game, then that shows me that we're not where we want to be as a fanbase, yet."

Just one week later, Tigers fans came through, and Coach Drinkwitz expressed his satisfaction with the result by tweeting, 'Thank you!!' with a second message reading '1-0.' He’ll be even happier when he sees the fans show up in full force for this team.

There's a buzz around Columbia, Missouri, and you can feel the energy in this town. Missouri football is at the forefront of everyone's minds, a constant topic of conversation around the city. The Tigers will look to prove their worthiness of yet another sellout, as well as make a statement to fans that every game this season should be a sellout.
