Missouri football fans are in store for quite the treat in 2024. The Tigers are coming off an all-time year, where they changed the overall trajectory of their program within a single season. They figure to be a preseason top-10 team following their 14-to-3 Cotton Bowl victory over Ohio State.

On Monday morning, tickets became available for Missouri's 2024 home football games. This was the first opportunity for fans to purchase tickets, and boy did they sellout fast. Within two hours of the release, an announcement was made that the rivalry-game with Oklahoma had been sold out. Just a couple hours after that, their Homecoming matchup with Auburn was also sold out.

Missouri is scheduled for a November 9th showdown with Oklahoma, which figures to be an instant classic. This is the renewal of a rivalry that goes back over a hundred years. Despite Oklahoma's dominant 67-24-5 record in the series, its Missouri who comes into 2024 with more momentum.

The last time Oklahoma made the trip to Columbia, MO, they were ranked No. 3 in the country, while Missouri sat back at No. 18 in the FBS-poll. The Sooners were welcomed to a spectacle, as ESPN's College GameDay was in attendance for this rivalry. Mizzou picked up a signature victory, defeating Oklahoma 36-27, and making a statement for their program.

The other sell out will also be a joy to watch, as Missouri has some unfinished business. On October 19th, the Auburn Tigers will visit Columbia, MO. This is a game that most of the team has highlighted after a disappointing finish to their last meeting, falling on the road in overtime. "I still feel that one," Cook said during his appearance last week at SEC Media Days.

To make the contest even more special, this was selected to be Missouri's homecoming game for the 2024 season. Homecoming is a massive deal at Mizzou, as the Tigers infamously founded the event back in 1911.

Both of these games are premier matchups, and fans are itching to watch the 2024 Missouri Tigers in action. Football season is just a month away, and you can feel the tension starting to build as Mizzou seek a historic year.
