With plenty of recruits committing within the coming weeks, Missouri has been on fire. After signing 4-star receiver Jayvan Boggs yesterday, the Tigers picked up yet another 4-star receiver today, in Donovan Olugbode. Both of whom are top-100 recruits in the 2025 class.

The four-star receiver raked in over 30 offers before narrowing it down to Missouri, Oregon, USC, and Washington. Olugbode is from Naperville, Illinois, but plays his high school football in Bradenton, Florida, for IMG Academy.

What makes Donovan Olugbode a good fit for Missouri?

The 6'1, 200-pound receiver has always been an extremely hard worker. He should fit right into the scheme on day one. Olugbode will be coming to Missouri ahead of the 2025 season, following the departures next off-season of both Luther Burden and Theo Wease. This sets up nicely for the Freshman to potentially earn his way into the mix quickly.

Olugbode has amazing hands, and when you pair that with an elusive first step, you find yourself a top-100 recruit. Missouri's five-star quarterback commit, Matt Zollers (2025 class), definitely has been putting in the work with recruits. Zollers has rallied guys who want to play with him, and we are already seeing the start of his recruits.

When Olugbode was asked why he chose Missouri, he responded with "Definitely Matt Zollers and what he can do with the football, and Kirby Moore and his offense, all of that combined, you can't go wrong with it."

Eliah Drinkwitz will look to continue adding over the coming weeks. According to on3 sports, this bolsters Missouri's 2025 class up to 17th nationally, with 14 commits now. There is still plenty of time for that ranking to improve. It is seemingly going to be an interesting couple of weeks, with Missouri in line to continue improving their 2025 class.
