On Saturday, the Missouri Tigers will play host for a Battle Line Rivalry with the Arkansas Razorbacks, and weather will certainly be a factor.

While temperatures were expected to be below freezing throughout the contest all week, snow was not originally supposed to have an impact on the game, but mother nature had other ideas.

In Columbia, Missouri it has been snowing since early Saturday morning, showing no signs of stopping ahead of a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.

This will certainly dictate the outcome of the contest in some way, with teams likely to keep the ball on the ground, something that might favor Mizzou.

The Tigers are coming off a game in which they ran the ball 56 times for over 200 yards and three touchdowns against Mississippi State.

Prior to the inclement weather, it was expected that the trenches could decide the contest, but given the winter wonderland at Faurot Field, the trenches will certainly dictate the game now.

It will be interesting to see how both sides alter their game plans with a white playing surface on Saturday afternoon.
