From a fan's perspective, it's been nice to see the Tigers's offense look the way it has so far. Quarterback Beau Pribula has thrived, the runningback duo of Ahmad Hardy and Jamal Roberts have excelled expectations, and the offensive line has stepped it up as of late.

That chemistry has been building all offseason long, and those long summer practices are finally paying off, with good drives through and through, finishing with consistent scores.

A ton of the credit for those impressive stats and constant offensive scoring goes to coaching, more specifically their offensive coordinator, Kirby Moore.

Moore has been with the Tigers since 2023, and was promoted to full-time offensive coordinator from QB coach, prior to this season. Hes a former Boise State wide reciever who finished his collegiate career with over 1,100 yards on over 100 catches.

The former Washington Player of the Year also coached at Idaho, Washington and Fresno State before heading to Columbia's sidelines.

In a must-win battle between Mizzou and their rival Kansas, Moore was able to help his offensive muster up just under 600 yards of offense, and a comeback home win.

Moore also deserves much of the credit for his role in now-NFL QB Brady Cook's development. Under Moore, Cook went 21-5 and nearly 6,000 passing yards, to go along with 32 passing scores.

He also coached the best seasons of NFL fan-favorites Luther Burden III and Cody Schrader.

Moore is a very talented coordinator, that has already rose in the ranks a ton in his short time coaching. At only 34 years old, he could easily find himself at a higher position, or at a higher level, in the near future, if his level of coaching keeps up.
