The NFL announced their full list of 319 combine participants, and six former Tigers were invited.
Edge Zion Young, defensive tackle Chris McClellan, right tackle Keagen Trost, linebacker Josiah Trotter, cornerback Toriano Pride Jr. and wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. all received an invitation to this year's event in Indianapolis. But there was one, if not two, former Mizzou Tigers that were notably left off the list.
Center Connor Tollison did not receive an invite, and safety Daylan Carnell was left off of the list as well. The two longtime starters will now have to wait for a pro day to display their talents.
Despite six Tigers receiving and NFL Combine invite, it probably could have been eight
Tollison was a three-year starter on a Missouri offensive line that boasted one of the best rushing attacks in the country. According to Pro Football Focus, Tollison allowed just three sacks all season, and had a 97.5 percent pass blocking efficiency rating. While he's been projected as a Day 3 pick in the NFL Draft, it's still a bit odd to see someone with the experience of Tollison left off the invite list.
Meanwhile, Carnell was another three-year starter who had a very productive career at Missouri. He had 35 tackles, including 4.5 for loss, and one interception in 2025. At 6-foot-2, 225-pounds, he possesses great size for a strong safety, but again, will now have to wait for Mizzou's pro day to showcase his skills.
After missing out on combine invites, the path to get drafted for Tollison and Carnell has now become very difficult. Still, with their extensive body of work, and a strong pro day, there's still an opportunity to impress NFL scouts.
The combine will be held from February 23 to March 2 while the NFL Draft will take place from April 23 to 25.
