Despite a tough loss to Texas A&M in Week 6, Mizzou's College Football Playoff aspirations are still very much alive.

One of the key reasons for optimism is the opportunity the Tigers will have to secure a signature win in just over two weeks when they travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Despite a poor performance against the Aggies, if Mizzou can bounce back from adversity, there’s no reason they can’t control their own destiny. With plenty of opportunities to strengthen their resume, the Tigers remains in a solid position to secure a playoff berth if they take things one game at a time.

Mizzou will be back in action against UMass on Saturday, needing a strong bounce-back performance.

Quarterback Brady Cook has struggled recently, and the game Saturday will be crucial for rebuilding his confidence.

With a favorable conference schedule ahead its important for fans to know that this season is in no way over for the Tigers.

Coach Drinkwitz has taken full responsibility for Saturday's loss, and we can expect the team will be ready-to-go for the remainder of the season.

Both schematically and in terms of execution, it's crucial for Missouri to bounce back and regain momentum before heading into the rest of its conference schedule.

With losses from Alabama and Tennessee in Week 6, the door remains wide open for the Tigers, as only one SEC team (Texas) remains undefeated. This could play a pivotal role in determining who reaches the SEC Championship and ultimately the College Football Playoff. Mizzou still has a clear path if they capitalize on upcoming opportunities.

One thing is clear: Missouri must get back on track and deliver a strong performance against UMass on Saturday.
