Florida Gators @ Missouri Tigers Preview
From our FanSided Network friends at Hail Florida Hail

“Gators On Offense
After Tyler Murphy’s performance through his first two and a half games had fans chanting “Murphy For Heisman!”, Murphy’s play against LSU was less than stellar. He will look to regain the Murphy Madness numbers against a Missouri defense that ranks 42nd in the country in points allowed. After praising Solomon Patton following the Arkansas game, his name was rarely called in Death Valley.”

Missouri Tigers must run effectively to beat Florida Gators
From Rant Sports

“The Missouri Tigers have won their first six games of the season largely due to an outstanding offense. The Tigers are eighth nationally in scoring offense (45.7 points per game) and 12th nationally in total offense, averaging 515.7 yards per outing.”

Spread Analysis and Pick Prediction
From Bleacher Report

“The public has been putting more money behind the Florida Gators as they visit Missouri Saturday. A poor record as a home underdog and the fact that James Franklin is out makes this a tough sell for Tiger bettors.”

Mizzou makes noise in SEC, but biggest tests are still ahead
From CBS Sports

“There once was a Missouri coach named Al Onofrio. They called him “Uncle Al” because, well, he looked like your uncle — or science teacher or driving instructor.

There wasn’t much intimidating about Al Onofrio, except that he was one hell of a coach against top 10 teams. During the 1970s, Uncle Al established Mizzou as the upset kings of college football. From 1971-77, the Tigers beat Notre Dame at South Bend, USC at the Coliseum, Arizona State in Tempe, Ohio State in Columbus and Nebraska in Lincoln (as well as Columbia, Mo.)”

Rise of the Tigers
A great read about Missouri Recruiting from ESPN

“The Missouri Tigers, in only their second year in the SEC, are sitting atop the East division. The Tigers are coming off a big 41-26 victory over Georgia and with a win over Florida on Saturday, would be in complete control of the division.”
