Missouri basketball comes back to Mizzou Arena against a Charleston Southern team that has only one win on the season.

Missouri basketball returns to the hardwood after nearly a week off. It’s the first game at home in nearly two weeks, as the Tigers played in Kansas City last week.

The Tigers get a Charleston Southern team that presents a tune-up before Saturday’s game against Temple. Missouri is on a two-game losing streak, so Mizzou will want to end that tonight in front of the their home fans and hope to get on a winning streak.

Here’s a look at today’s matchup:

Records: Charleston Southern 3-5; Mizzou 4-3

Where: Mizzou Arena

Time: 7 p.m.

How to watch: SECN+

How to listen: TuneIn

Live stats: mutigers

Last year’s record: Charleston Southern 18-16; Missouri 15-17

The Mizzou basketball team is favored by a ton in this one. Missouri got the offense going in the final game of the Hall of Fame Classic, so hopefully the Tigers can keep that going tonight. They’ll want to knock down their outside shots, as that has been where they have struggled this year.

Charleston Southern has played two ranked teams and neither game was close. The Buccaneers split their past two games.

Their top player is guard Dontrell Shuler, who averages more than 18 points a game. He also is their top playmaker, and leads the team with 3.8 assists per contest.

Charleston’s next top player is fellow guard Phlandrous Fleming Jr., who averages 10 points a gam to go with about eight rebounds. Jeremiah Tilmon likely secures the glass heavily in tonight’s game.

Next up: Mizzou travels east to Philadelphia to take on the Temple Owls for another road game.
