Not long after news of the Earnest Ross transfer broke, Missouri football got two big recruits in the form of 4-star recruit and the top overall guard in the class of 2012, Evan Boehm from Lee’s Summit West High School (which is five-minute drive from my house), and Kentrell Brice, a cornerback from Louisiana. Mix that in with Earnest Ross’s transfer and you have a pretty successful day for the big two college sports in Columbia. Now, on to the links.

"… Boehm’s commitment is a crucial victory — for now — over Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners. (I touched on this angle last Friday.) The Tigers can officially claim the head-to-head recruiting win after months of hand-holding leading up to national signing day in February, but for now, it’s a promising get for Pinkel and staff against one of college football’s absolute best recruiters. To make headway against the Sooners in the new Big 12, Missouri must win some recruiting battles against the big boys of the conference. Boehm’s commitment certainly qualifies."
