No, Morning Zou isn’t kaput or anything, I just have a really inconsistent sleep schedule. Although I do stay up later during the summer, sometimes there are things that keep me up hours later than I want. Such as, oh, three 13-year-olds staying up until 4 o’clock in the morning playing Call of Duty, blasting Ke$ha, and screaming obscenities because they all learned that cussing is awesome or something like that. Mind you, this is right outside of my bedroom. Anyways, it’s not like the good ol’ days of Stand By Me and all that, and I’m now worn out and grumpy. So let’s get to the links!

  • Basketball Transfers: Report: Jamaal Coombs-McDaniel is transferring to Hofstra [Steve Walentik]

  • USA Softball: Taylor, Thomas Selected to USA Softball Roster (congrats, girls! – Ed) [MUTigers.com]
  • Grantland: Screw Boston [Grantland] (This seems to be more about Canada’s love of hockey more than Boston continuing to feel like the loveable losers who deserve so many titles. Yes, I am bitter about that. I’m sure people in Seattle are as well.)
  • Bleacher Report: Q&A with Bleacher Report’s CEO [SI.com] (I don’t think I’ve ever read an article over at B/R, and this is mostly due to the fact that a lot of respected bloggers that I follow on Twitter and their respective sites love to bash the hell out of the site. I’m glad I discovered SB Nation/ FanSided before Bleacher Report.)
  • AWESOME: The Complete History of SNL’s Celebrity Jeopardy [SplitSider.om]
